On Monday May 24 we will get together at Newark Memorial High School's
career center to discuss our progress since September, reformulate our
goals for the next year, and plan a short presentation to city council
to be made on Wed May 27. All are encouraged to attend.

At this meeting we hope to get to these agenda items:

A) Not in Newark members who have been meeting with city administrators,
attending Newark's Joint Youth Task Force meetings, or participating in
the school district's Diversity Committee meetings will brief everyone
on the activities of those groups. We'll discuss how we'd like to
interact with those organizations, and what information we can bring to
them.

B) Discuss the materials and services available to school districts for
implementing AB537, the California Student Safety and Violence
Prevention Act of 2000.
